I thoroughly enoyjed reading this article as did several others to whom it was passed around. Mr True-May is yet another example of the big wigs making an example of the wrong man. There are plenty of other shows the production company or ITV could (and perhaps should) investigate. It is incredibly unjust for Mr True-May to be pushed into the limelight for the sake of a well grounded (if somewhat ill worded) point. The fact is that he has a right to use his artistic licence and create whatever he likes. He can even rationalise his ideas as wildly and eccentrically as he would like. But the point is that Mr True May is playing on a stereotype in his show. This is nothing new. And no-one was forced to buy the show and no-one was forced to watch it.Whilst I appreciate that racism is rife within the industry and discrimination in creating/casting is widespread, the way to combat it is not to stifle free speech. Suspending the creator only serves to alienate different ethnic groups from eachother. Instead of suspending Mr True May, who has no control over which shows are produced and watched, why don't they try a wider variety of programmes. I guess being politically correct' only works when it isn't costing you money
