Chris Behan was born on Merseyside, educated at Wirral Grammar School and the University of Liverpool where he obtained a degree in Electronic Engineering. He is now retired after a successful career in engineering and executive recruitment. A Freeman of the City of London and a Paul Harris Fellow of Rotary International, his hobbies include photography and producing an annual film for his Rotary Club, the Rotary Club of Haddenham and District. The Club, he maintains, is the real Rotary Club of Midsomer. He has lived in Midsomer for nearly 40 years.
